Surreal Media of a Virtual City with Live Data

What if you could navigate a virtual representation of your city in which all traffic an events going on where actually those happening on the real world… This is a video of the first demo of Traffic 21 project “Motion Intelligence from Surveillance Cameras (MISC)” by Instinctive Computing Lab, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. Traffic is generated automatically in an Opensim grid using real time (low-resolution/frame-rate) images from traffic cameras.

Welcome to Manuel García-Herranz personal web page at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

I am a Teacher Assistant at the Polytecnic school of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). My research is focused on Ambient Intelligence and Human Computer Interaction, areas in which I obtained the PhD in October 2009. I work in AmILab, the Ambient Intelligence Laboratory of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, but I’m currently visiting Dr Yang Cai in the Instinctive Computing Lab of Carnegie Mellon University’s Cylab.
